I am a former church pastor and now speak and travel to different groups both in the UK and abroad."Feet first" was a phrase that came to me while I was preparing to speak at a conference in France at the beginning of 2001. Looking at the passage in Matthew 14:22-36, where Peter 'steps out' of the boat into the middle of a raging storm and walks on the water - the simple illustration of obedience to Jesus' invitation to come to him.

A few years later I heard the Lord speak to me though three different people who, unconnected to each other, encouraged me to 'step out'. Feet first ministries is about encouraging people to step out in faith with Jesus and to step into life with him.
Feet First Ministries
John 13:1-8 is also an important passage that speaks to the values of Feet First. It's a ministry that seeks to model servant leadership, to be humble, to see the value of others in the Lord's eyes and to serve the individual and the body.

So we seek to encourage people to step out in faith and step into life with Jesus.
